Tweets for Today

  • 10:59 Looks like we're breaking the 90ยบ mark tomorrow. Guess it's time to buckle down for summer. #
  • 11:14 1 year after I started writing, finally, it is finished: tinyurl.com/634erq #
  • 12:57 Don't guess I mentioned that the internets finally stopped letting me down: Death Cab album leaked. #
  • 12:57 Considering going to see Iron Man tonight. #
  • 12:58 Really wanting to buy a new toy. Should probably wait until post-move and evaluate finances then, though. #
  • 13:29 Another thing that will end in tears: tinyurl.com/43m6xd #
  • 16:35 Decided to break out the Grados. Trying out new albums from Bon Iver, Dodos, M83, No Age, Wolf Parade, Death Cab, and Islands. #
  • 16:36 Wolf Parade is pretty similar to the last album (which I haven't listened to in a while) so far, but not really catching me. #
  • 16:37 Wasn't blown away by Bon Iver. Was expecting something more immediately beautiful and tragic. Maybe it's there, but not on the first listen. #
  • 16:37 Death Cab seems fine so far; their albums are always growers. #
  • 16:38 Islands seems OK so far... #
  • 16:51 So far, so good on the Dodos album. #
  • 16:56 Yeah, the Dodos record has a lot of potential. To be fair, Dan already told me so... #
  • 17:33 Dodos album: a little over-long? #
  • 17:50 No Age: now this is what Times New Viking should have sounded like! #
  • 18:25 Time to head home and set up my new Time Capsule. And eat. #
  • 22:01 Time Capsule set up. Need to connect via Ethernet for first backup, and get Wii & SqueezeBox on new network. Latter is giving me trouble. #
  • 00:39 Just back from Iron Man. Good, but had sort of the same "blue balls" effect of the first X-Men & Spider-Man. Which is probably a good sign.. #
  • 02:40 Current SqueezeBox firmware isn't compatible with Time Capsule. Updated to nightly beta of next release. #
  • 02:41 Had to get the thing on the network to update, though. For that, had to set up Airport Express as an ethernet bridge. Also complicated. #
  • 02:44 Everything's working happily now, though. #
