Changes in Instagram 2.0
Great analysis of alterations to filters in the new version of Instagram. I hadn’t noticed the difference, but some of the changes are quite dramatic, and most are for the worse.
However, I am very happy with the new filter that saves high resolution versions of your filtered shots to your camera roll—I can now take Instagram shots and make decent prints from them. I just wish my old Instagram shots weren’t permanently locked in their low-res versions. I could go back to the original photos and re-apply the filters, but it would be hard to get the crops the same, and as the link points out, the filters wouldn’t behave the same way.
