Facebook report
Speaking of statistics: click the link, and Wolfram Alpha will ask for permission to access your Facebook account, and then give you some cool analyses, charts, and graphs of your data.
I don’t do a lot on Facebook, so a large part of the report wasn’t particularly interesting to me, but the graph (in the computer science sense of nodes and edges), clustered based on mutual friends, was fascinating. I could see groups corresponding to high school, college, graduate school, and St. Louis friends, as well as a subgraph I would designate as “Cindy’s friends” and “the Modest Mouse listserv”.
If you have Wolfram Alpha Pro, you can download the data and poke around it a little more. Tempting.
